I began my banking career in 1995 with La Jolla Bank, originating the full spectrum of real estate and construction loans for commercial, residential, and income properties. In addition to my background of construction lending on high-end single-family custom homes, I have originated loans for both investor owned and owner user commercial real estate, mid-size apartment complexes, and special use properties. This includes numerous properties leased by LA FITNESS in Arizona and Texas for both construction & perm financing, numerous Apartment Complexes in California and Arizona ranging from 5 to 200 units, loans secured by pools of income producing single-family rental homes where one deed of trust would cover between 5 and 50 homes, various flagged and unflagged hotels, Gas Stations and C-Stores, an IMAX Theater, a refinance of a stand-alone golf course, shopping centers shadow anchored by Stater Brothers, numerous strip centers, retail, office, industrial, and single tenant NNN properties.
