A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Boulder, I have a zest for traveling the world, studying cultures, and understanding how people live. Twenty-three years ago, I entered the mortgage industry with the desire to help home buyers easily navigate the complex lending system. I had been a homeowner for a few years and found the experience overwhelming and so incredibly important that I decided to make mortgages my profession. I believe that everyone should own a home, so I work to find custom solutions to meet that goal. Buying a house is a huge financial decision (maybe the biggest in one's life), and I make sure the financial side is easy to understand.

My professional career has been a colorful journey. I earned degrees in Horticulture & Sociology from Texas A&M and spent ten years working with developmentally disabled adults. Since my start in the mortgage industry in 2002, I have helped thousands of satisfied clients secure mortgage financing.

Learning, sharing, and performing in this industry has allowed me to serve on the Homeownership Committee for the City of Boulder's Division of Housing to help guide affordable home purchasing policies, receive the Five Star Mortgage Professional designation for thirteen years running, and accept Boulder Area Realtors Association's Affiliate of the Year award.

My 16-year-old twin boys have turned me into a sports fanatic with Baxter playing baseball and Cooper playing football. My 17-year-old daughter Ella is ending her volleyball career this spring as she heads to college in the fall. Until then, I will enjoy these last few months of cheering her on from the sidelines. When my husband Darrell (Fairview Knight Teacher) and I are not traveling, gardening, or cooking with the kids, you will find us kayaking or walking our bulldog Aggie.
